I take 80mg of stratera (atomoxetine). I don’t know if it’s really helping. My doc and I were trying to avoid stimulants bc I am in recovery from ARFID and other disordered eating. Upping one of my antidepressants to see if it will increase my appetite and allow me to take something else.
25mg Adderall XR.. with the back order issues I’ve been bouncing around the different generic brands, they don’t warn you about the differences at the pharmacy. For instance my latest prescription lasts 16hrs instead of the name brand 12hrs. BIG mistake if you don’t take your meds early enough in the day 😬 sleeping has been very difficult..
I’ve landed on Adderall XR. 20mg and 10mg-each twice daily. And Buproprion 150mg (generic version of Wellbutrin). In the past I’ve been on Strattera (made me feel really sick with little result), methylphenidate, concerta, and focalin. Adderall has helped me more with emotional regulation and helps me feel more content. I’m still on the fence with Buproprion… it’s been about four months now, and I’m not sure if it’s making me feel better or worse…
I take 70 mg vyvanse usually, but due to the shortage the highest dosage I can get right now is 50 mg. Anyone else had to go a month or more I medicated? It was hell. I had to drop out of school for the semester because I was unmedicated. I couldn’t focus at all and all I wanted to do was sleep all day.
I'm on Wellbutrin XL 300mg a day. I love it! I'm thinking about going to the max dose (450mg) but I'm going to give it a few more weeks and see. But damn, I've never been more energetic and productive in my life. Wellbutrin takes my hyperactivity and uses it for good. Of course there are the depression benefits of it as well. Wellbutrin helps dopamine and norepinephrine. Makes sense for ADHD people since our brains are constantly seeking dopamine
