Shame

Do you also often feel ashamed of yourselves and even more so in front of others when even the most obvious things don't work out? For example, not calling friends because you're ashamed of your condition and low productivity, and then ashamed that you haven't been in touch for so long? Or not knowing what to say when people ask what you've been doing at home and you think you've just run around the apartment, touched everything, started countless projects, finished none, turned the apartment into chaos, and accomplished nothing on your to-do list?

Only every minute of every day 😖also the random feeling of any success that you are somehow faking and an imposter

Just getting out of bed is a struggle. When I am able to get up and attempt to accomplish something I don’t know where to start and I get overwhelmed, overstimulated and either irritated or depressed

All the time… I try to remind myself it’s not my fault. It’s not easy to be kind to myself but I’m trying. Let’s try together.

Hey, it's me! Start by realizing that your feeling of shame is irrational; only then can you move past it.

It's impossible to do otherwise, it's a vicious circle...

It’s a little better now but I used to feel like this ALL THE TIME… Hang in there, it gets better when you accept yourself and get others to understand you function differently. For the time being, know that I feel for you and you’re definitely not alone in this struggle with shame. ❤️‍🩹
